I wrote this novel for the production of a movie, thinking that never appeared in a book form. In fact, the publishing house did not ask me for a novel, but for a brief narrative filled with pure action, so that could be used as a script guide to the director. But excited by the work, I began to write and write, without realizing that instead of a script I was writing a novel, and, in twenty-one nights I finished Paradise of Women. Vicente Blasco Ibáñez.
